Obituary for Ruth Knier, founding member of the Humanities program

The faculty sadly note the passing of long-time professor and chair of the Humanities department, Ruth Knier. Professor Knier taught in our program from 1960 until her retirement in 2003. Those of us who knew her remember her fondly for her leadership, generosity, and untiring commitment to enriching the minds and spirits of her students.
